Rites Held Today For Miss Norwood
HUNTINGDON, Tenn. Miss Letha Laverne Norwood, 49, died at
the home of her parents on Northwood Drive Wednesday
morning. Funeral services were held at the Oak Grove
Baptist Church today at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Fred
Prince of Hollow Rock. Burial was in the church cemetery
with Dilday Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Norwood was a
life-long life-long resident of Carroll County and a member
of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors are her parents,
R. E. and Pearl Bond Norwood; four brothers, Paul Norwood
of Union City, Raymond Norwood of Covington, Va., Wade
Norwood of Pratville, Ala. and Ralph Norwood of Jackson
Miss. and a sister Mrs. J. E. Heath of Kennett, Mo.2
