CAMDEN Funeral services or P. L. French, 73, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Crossroads Baptist Church with the Rev. Mitchell Rayburn officiating. Burial will be in Camden Cemetery with Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home in charge. Mr. French died Tuesday at his home in Camden after a long illness. He was born in Benton County, son of the late Ferdinand and Lury Cole French. He was Baptist and was a retired grocer and barbecue stand operator. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Hettie Bell Hedges French; three daughters, Mrs. Lorene Mitchell and Mrs. Sandra Smith, both of Camden, and Mrs. Agnes Alexander of Chicago; a foster daughter, Mrs. Treva Woods of Mauldin, Mo.; a brother, Bill French of Camden; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.4
